Vale 2 OYs

Two well-known OYs have passed away recently. Bruce Rooken-Smith, who was the main contact for the Kenya Regiment, keeping records over many years, and Jonny Havelock, who had a distinguished career in the law, concluding with membership of the High Court. Obituaries will appear in the next Brooklands Baraza.

Vale Richard Tredget

Richard passed away on Saturday 24th October 2022 after a lengthy illness. His funeral a week later was very well attended and included a number of Old Yorkists. A Sad Loss

January 2022 -a sad month indeed, with the loss of two much loved and respected Old Yorkists, Richard Leakey and Don Rooken Smith. Full obituaries will be published in the Baraza Newsletter number 5.

Vale Andrew Barnett (James 1961- 1965)

Mike Vaughan

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Mike Vaughan in September.
